This bill addresses local regulation of cut flower sales.
This bill:
- defines terms;
- establishes that a political subdivision may not prohibit the sale, trade, or transfer of cut flowers if the person selling, trading, or transferring the cut flowers is permitted to grow flowers on the person's private property; and
- clarifies that a political subdivision may require a person selling, trading, or transferring cut flowers to obtain a business license.
