This bill creates the Dyslexia Screening Pilot Program. This bill: - defines terms; - provides certain protections to educational professionals; - creates the Dyslexia Screening Pilot Program to:provide dyslexia related resources to district and charter schools; andcreate a dyslexia screener at the University of Utah College of Education and the University of Utah Education Policy Center; - creates a reporting requirement upon request of the Education Interim Committee; - requires the state board to:administer and oversee the pilot program; andmake certain rules related to the pilot program; - provides a repeal date for the pilot program; and - makes technical and conforming changes.
