This bill addresses issues related to victims of crime.
This bill:
- modifies the term, "criminally injurious conduct," for Title 63M, Chapter 7, Part 5, Utah Office for Victims of Crime;
- modifies the eligibility requirements for a victim reparations award to allow mental health counseling for sexual assault that occurred in a prison, jail, or correctional facility while the individual is incarcerated; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
