This bill addresses provisions regarding female genital mutilation.
This bill:
- repeals the requirement for the Department of Health and Human Services to develop a community education program regarding female genital mutilation;
- removes the statute of limitation for the prosecution of the offense of female genital mutilation; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
