This bill addresses a crime victim's right to privacy. This bill: - allows a crime victim to request the use of the victim's initials instead of the victim's name in publicly available criminal justice documents under certain circumstances; - requires an entity that creates publicly available documents related to the criminal justice process to:provide the name of a victim identified by initials in response to a court order; andmaintain any information about a victim that is necessary to respond to a lawful court order; and - makes technical and conforming changes.
