This bill concerns public assistance fraud.
This bill:
- amends certain criminal provisions concerning obtaining or using public assistance;
- creates the offense of public assistance fraud by a person facilitating an inaccurate public assistance application;
- adds the newly created offense to the list of predicate offenses for a pattern of unlawful activity; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
