This bill addresses criminal offenses related to coercive conduct. This bill: - creates the criminal offense of aiding or encouraging suicide that:contains current language regarding aiding suicide moved from the criminal offense of manslaughter; andadds new elements of encouraging suicide in certain circumstances that can be charged criminally; - separates the criminal offenses of sexual extortion and aggravated sexual extortion into two separate offenses; - adds additional elements to the criminal offense of sexual extortion; - adds the criminal offenses of sexual extortion and aggravated sexual extortion to the list of offenses that are eligible to be considered a domestic violence offense; - requires a mandatory fine for certain convictions of:aiding or encouraging suicide;sexual extortion; and aggravated sexual extortion; and - makes technical and conforming changes.
