This bill amends the Excellence in Education and Leadership Supplement to expand access to the performance-based teacher award program.
This bill:
- broadens statewide eligibility for the performance-based teacher award program;
- provides a process for teachers employed in non-participating local education agencies to be considered for an award; and
- makes conforming changes.
