This bill amends provisions of the Government Records and Access Management Act.
This bill:
- provides that a building plan prepared by an architect that bear the architect's seal may be classified as a protected record;
- allows a government entity, upon discovery of an inadvertent improper disclosure of a record, to notify the requester to which the record was disclosed;
- requires a recipient of an inadvertently disclosed record to destroy or return the inadvertently disclosed record;
- amends provisions related to penalties for improper disclosure to address inadvertent disclosure of records; and
- makes technical changes.
