This bill establishes the Center for Civic Excellence at Utah State University (center).
This bill:
- defines terms;
- establishes the center as a pilot program;
- provides the purposes, curricular focus, responsibilities, authority, and administration of the center;
- requires a report to the Utah Board of Higher Education to consider system-wide changes to general education; and
- establishes a sunset date for the center.
