This bill supplements or reduces appropriations otherwise provided for the support and operation of state government for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025 and for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026.
This bill:
- provides funding for a 1% labor market increase for state employees and higher education employees;
- provides funding for a 1% pay for performance labor market increase for state employees;
- provides funding for a 1% discretionary increase for offices of the Legislature, statewide elected officials, and the Judiciary;
- provides funding for health and dental benefit cost changes as recommended by the Public Employees Health Programs;
- provides funding for retirement rate changes for certain state employees;
- provides funding for an up-to $26 per pay period match for qualifying state employees enrolled in a defined contribution plan; and
- provides funding for other compensation adjustments as authorized.
