This bill addresses major sources of halogen emissions.
This bill:
- defines terms;
- requires a major halogen source to adopt control technologies;
- requires a major halogen source to modify an operating permit and air quality permit to meet certain requirements;
- requires the Division of Air Quality to submit an annual report on halogen emissions to the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environmental Interim Committee; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
