This bill addresses the Utah Water Quality Board.
This bill:
- establishes a process for members of the Utah Water Quality Board to conduct a mediated settlement conference between the director and a party in alleged violation of the Utah Water Quality Act; and
- authorizes members of the Utah Water Quality Board to recommend a reasonable penalty amount to the director.
