This bill addresses situations related to child custody.
This bill:
- defines terms;
- provides that a peace officer or child welfare caseworker may not take specific actions related to the custody of a child based on certain actions of the child's parent;
- provides that in a proceeding where custody and parent-time of a minor child are at issue, the court may not discriminate against a parent based on certain actions of the parent; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
