5 This bill amends provisions on the school plant capital outlay report.

18 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
19 Section 1. Section 53E-3-705 is amended to read:
20 53E-3-705 . School plant capital outlay report.
21 [(1)] The state board shall prepare an annual school plant capital outlay report of all school
22 districts, which includes information on the number and size of building projects
23 completed and under construction.
24 [(2) A school district or charter school shall prepare and submit an annual school plant
25 capital outlay report to the state auditor on or before a date designated by the state
26 auditor.]
27 Section 2. Effective date.
28 This bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.
