3 LONG TITLE
4 General Description:
5 This bill addresses the State Rehabilitation Advisory Council within the Department of
6 Workforce Services.
7 Highlighted Provisions:
8 This bill:
9 ▸ extends the sunset date of the State Rehabilitation Advisory Council for 10 years.

18 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
19 Section 1. Section 63I-1-235 is amended to read:
20 63I-1-235 . Repeal dates: Title 35A.
21 (1) Subsection 35A-1-202(2)(d), related to the Child Care Advisory Committee, is repealed
22 July 1, 2026.
23 (2) Section 35A-3-205, which creates the Child Care Advisory Committee, is repealed July
24 1, 2026.
25 (3) Subsection 35A-4-502(5), which creates the Employment Advisory Council, is repealed
26 July 1, 2032.
27 (4) Title 35A, Chapter 9, Part 6, Education Savings Incentive Program, is repealed July 1,
28 2028.

29 (5) Sections 35A-13-301 and 35A-13-302, which create the Governor's Committee on
30 Employment of People with Disabilities, are repealed July 1, 2028.
31 (6) Section 35A-13-303, which creates the State Rehabilitation Advisory Council, is
32 repealed July 1, [2024] 2034.
33 (7) Section 35A-13-404, which creates the advisory council for the Division of Services for
34 the Blind and Visually Impaired, is repealed July 1, 2025.
35 (8) Sections 35A-13-603 and 35A-13-604, which create the Interpreter Certification Board,
36 are repealed July 1, 2026.
37 Section 2. Effective date.
38 This bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.
