                                 A BILL

To prohibit the provision of Federal funds to States and units of local
government that prohibit their residents from owning dogs, and for
                            other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting Puppies from Sharia
Act''.

SEC. 2. NO FEDERAL FUNDS FOR STATES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS THAT
              IMPLEMENT HARAM.

    (a) In General.--No Federal funds may be made available to any
State or local government that prohibits residents of the jurisdiction
from owning dogs.
    (b) Sense of Congress.--It is the sense of Congress that--
            (1) Sharia law is a foreign concept that is against the
        pursuit of happiness; and
            (2) it is a right of all Americans to own a dog.
