Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Valve Safety Fairness Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. APPLICATION OF RULE TO TYPE A GAS GATHERING LINES. The Administrator of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration shall take such actions as are necessary to apply the final rule of the Administration, titled ``Pipeline Safety: Requirement of Valve Installation and Minimum Rupture Detection Standards'' and published on April 8, 2022 (87 Fed. Reg. 20940), to Type A gas gathering lines. <all>
