Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Manned Aircraft Clarification Act''. SEC. 2. CRIMINAL PENALTIES RELATING TO MANNED AIRCRAFT. (a) Destruction of Manned Aircraft.-- (1) In general.--Section 32 of title 18, United States Code, is amended-- (A) in the section heading, by inserting ``manned'' before ``aircraft or''; (B) in subsection (a)(1)-- (i) by inserting ``manned'' before ``aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction''; and (ii) by inserting ``manned'' before ``civil''; and (C) in subsection (b), by inserting ``manned'' before ``civil'' each place it appears. (2) Table of sections amendment.--The table of sections for chapter 2 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking the item related to section 32 and inserting the following: ``32. Destruction of manned aircraft or aircraft facilities.''. (b) Aircraft Piracy.--Section 46502(a)(1)(A) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking ``an aircraft'' and inserting ``a manned aircraft''. <all>
