                                 A BILL


 
  To allow for greater collaboration between the Biomedical Advanced 
Research and Development Authority and the network of Manufacturing USA 
                              institutes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Agility in Manufacturing 
Preparedness Act of 2025''.

SEC. 2. INCREASING BARDA STRATEGIC INITIATIVES.

    Section 319L(c)(4)(F) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 
247d-7e(c)(4)(F)) is amended--
            (1) in the second sentence, in the matter preceding clause 
        (i), by inserting ``, manufacturing technologies, platforms,'' 
        after ``countermeasures''; and
            (2) by inserting after the first sentence the following: 
        ``Such strategic coordination may include collaborating with 
        the network of Manufacturing USA institutes established under 
        section 34 of the National Institute of Standards and 
        Technology Act in biomanufacturing missions to develop, 
        demonstrate, and deploy technologies and response capabilities 
        to improve public health and medical preparedness.''.
