Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Hunger-Free Future Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. ADJUSTMENTS TO THE THRIFTY FOOD PLAN IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. Section 3(u) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2012(u)) is amended in the matter preceding paragraph (1) by inserting after the 2d sentence the following: ``Each re-evaluation or update shall not result in an increase in food insecurity and shall continue to adjust the cost of the diet in accordance with paragraphs (1) through (4), as applicable. For purposes of the preceding sentence, the term `food insecurity' means the number of households that lack adequate food as a result of having insufficient money and other resources to acquire food.''. <all>
