 Mr. Stauber introduced the following bill; which was referred to the 
 Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Small 
Business, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in 
   each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the 
                jurisdiction of the committee concerned

       To require Federal agency heads to submit a report on the 
    implementation of the Regulatory Flexibility Act, and for other 
                               purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Assurance for Small Business Act of 
2024''.

SEC. 2. REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REGULATORY FLEXIBILITY ACT.

    Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, 
the head of each agency shall submit to Congress a report describing 
the application of chapter 6 of title 5, United States Code (commonly 
know as the ``Regulatory Flexibility Act''), with respect to each rule 
of the agency. Such report shall include--
            (1) any definitions used by the agency to determine a 
        ``significant economic impact'' and a ``substantial number of 
        small entities'', as such terms are used in such chapter 6; and
            (2) a comprehensive list of factors considered by the 
        agency in applying such terms in any regulatory flexibility 
        analyses of such agency.
