 To amend the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations 
 Act, 2024, to make a technical correction to the Federal payment made 
    in such Act to the District of Columbia Public Defender Service.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``District of Columbia Public Defender 
Service Technical Correction Act''.

SEC. 2. TECHNICAL CORRECTION TO FEDERAL PAYMENT TO THE DISTRICT OF 
              COLUMBIA PUBLIC DEFENDER SERVICE.

    (a) Technical Correction.--The matter preceding the first proviso 
under the heading ``federal payment to the district of columbia public 
defender service'' under the heading ``Federal Funds'' in title IV of 
division B of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (Public 
Law 118-47; 138 Stat. 460) is amended by striking ``, of which 
$3,000,000 shall remain available until September 30, 2026, for costs 
associated with relocation under a replacement lease for headquarters 
offices, field offices, and related facilities''.
    (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by subsection (a) shall 
take effect as if included in the enactment of title IV of division B 
of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024.
