The resolution commemorates the Global Encounters Festival, which took place in Dubai, UAE, from July 20 to 27, 2025. Organized by the Ismaili Muslim community in collaboration with various UAE organizations, the festival aimed to promote tolerance and coexistence through the arts and sports. It was notable for being the first event to simultaneously host the Jubilee Arts and Jubilee Games, attracting 4,000 artists and athletes from over 50 countries and drawing an audience of more than 25,000 visitors. The festival featured a diverse array of activities, including art exhibitions, film screenings, music and theater performances, interactive workshops, and sports competitions across 17 disciplines, emphasizing fair play and teamwork.

Additionally, the festival demonstrated a commitment to sustainability, achieving zero-waste targets and utilizing 100% renewable energy sources. It also supported the Roots for Change campaign, aiming to plant one million trees globally. The event was made possible through the efforts of over 3,000 volunteers, showcasing the spirit of service and community involvement.
