A devoted family man, he shared 34 years of marriage with his wife, Alethea, and took pride in his two sons. The resolution expresses the Texas House of Representatives' condolences to his family and friends, recognizing the lasting impact Mr. Bugg had on his community and the lives of those around him. The resolution was unanimously adopted by the House on August 27, 2025.
