The resolution recognizes the 20 Year Founder's Day Celebration of the Cy-Fair Republican Women (CFRW), scheduled for July 8, 2025. Founded in June 2005 by a group of women in northwest Houston, CFRW is committed to promoting Republican Party principles, supporting candidates at various levels, engaging the public on civic issues, and encouraging political activism among its members. The current president, Trish Powell, leads the organization, which has made significant contributions to advancing the goals of the Republican Party and fostering an informed electorate in Texas.

During the celebration, CFRW will honor several of its original members and feature guest speaker Steve Munisteri, a former chair of the Republican Party of Texas. The resolution expresses congratulations from the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, to CFRW for its two decades of dedication and accomplishments, extending best wishes for the organization's future endeavors.
