She was a devoted mother to her children, Linda, Dale, Kim, and Carolyn, and took great joy in her expanding family, which included 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A lifelong member of the Argo Missionary Baptist Church, Mrs. Raney was known for her faith, warmth, and kindness. She enjoyed various hobbies such as gardening, cooking, quilting, and playing games, and she actively supported her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their pursuits. The resolution expresses the Texas Senate's condolences to her family and friends, recognizing the positive impact she had on those around her.
