She was a devoted mother to her children, Linda, Dale, Kim, and Carolyn, and took great pride in her expanding family, which included 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

A lifelong member of the Argo Missionary Baptist Church, Mrs. Raney was known for her faith, warmth, and kindness. In her free time, she engaged in various activities such as gardening, cooking, quilting, and supporting her family.
