The resolution celebrates the Tyler Junior College (TJC) men's tennis team for their remarkable achievement in winning the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I championship. Competing at the national tournament in Florence, South Carolina, from May 12 to 16, the Apaches showcased their dominance by securing first place in singles flight No. 5 and sweeping all three doubles flights, ultimately amassing 42 points—nine points ahead of the runner-up, Barton Community College. This victory marks TJC's second consecutive national title and the 20th in the program's history.

Additionally, six players from the team received First Team All-American honors, with standout performances from Daniel Mauricio Marincas and his doubles partner Alex Morris, as well as Daniel Borisov and Alex Despoja in the No. 1 Doubles category. The team, guided by interim head coach Micah Avance, who was named NJC Coach of the Tournament, has further solidified TJC's reputation as a tennis powerhouse.
