Born in Marshall on October 13, 1932, Mr. Denney served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War before returning to establish Denney's Cleaners, where he built strong relationships with his customers. He was married to Jacquelyn Hartley for over sixty years until her passing in 2013, and together they raised two children, Cheryl and Ronald, and welcomed a large extended family, including five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Denney was a man of deep faith and a dedicated member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where he served as a lay reader. He enjoyed various hobbies, including golf, tennis, ham radio operation, model airplane building, and ballroom dancing. The resolution expresses heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, recognizing Mr. Denney's devotion to his loved ones and the positive impact he had on those around him.
