Born on October 15, 1928, in Miami, Florida, Bill Cole was the son of William Eugene Cole and Fannie Mae Cole Phillips and grew up with five siblings. He married Alverta Knocke in 1950, with whom he had three children, and later found love again with his second wife, Joyce. Throughout his life, he was blessed with a growing family that included five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cole had a diverse career in the oil and gas industry, working for notable companies such as Shell Oil Company, Aramco, and Halliburton, and also spent time as a cattle rancher. He was actively involved in his community, coaching Little League baseball and enjoying local football games. A devoted member of First Baptist Church Atlanta, Bill Cole is remembered for the meaningful relationships he built and the joy he brought to those around him.
