He married Alverta Knocke in 1950, with whom he had three children, and later found love again with his second wife, Joyce. Throughout his life, he was blessed with a growing family that included five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cole had a diverse career in the oil and gas industry, working for notable companies such as Shell Oil Company, Aramco, and Halliburton, and also spent time as a cattle rancher. He was actively involved in his community, coaching Little League baseball and enjoying local football games. A devoted member of First Baptist Church Atlanta, Bill Cole is remembered for the meaningful relationships he built and the joy he brought to those around him.
