Jean married Kenneth Lyndon Pfaff, with whom she shared a 55-year marriage and raised four children: Cathy, John, Rob, and Todd. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to her family, which grew to include nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

After relocating to Texas, Jean Pfaff became a devoted homemaker and co-managed various family businesses, including those in orthopedic sales, property development, and meat processing. She was known for her generosity, volunteering to assist cancer patients, supporting local schools, and welcoming those in need into her home. A woman of faith, she actively participated in church activities as a Sunday school teacher. The resolution expresses the Texas Senate's condolences to her family and friends, recognizing the warmth and kindness she brought to those around her.
