The Senate of the State of Texas has passed a resolution recognizing the women's rodeo team at Tarleton State University for their outstanding achievement as Reserve National Champions at the 2025 College National Finals Rodeo. The resolution highlights the team's impressive performances, with individual members excelling in various events such as barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying. Notably, Tori Brower earned the individual national title in goat tying, showcasing the team's remarkable skill and determination.
The resolution also acknowledges the leadership of head coach Mark Eakin and associate head coach Brittany Stewart, who have guided the team to uphold a tradition of excellence in collegiate rodeo. The Senate expresses pride in the team's accomplishments and their representation of Tarleton State University and the State of Texas.
