In 1989, she married Terry Bewley, and together they raised two children, Charis Barron and the late Chad Horton, along with two stepchildren, Jennifer Hicks and Tim Bewley. Ruth Ann took great joy in her family, which later expanded to include two grandchildren, Madison and Camden.
