Senate Resolution No. 625 recognizes the McLennan Community College Dance Team for their remarkable achievement in winning two National Dance Alliance national championships in 2025. The team excelled at the competition held in Daytona from April 10 to 12, securing titles in both the Team Performance Junior College Championship and the Jazz Junior College Championship. Since its inception in 1976, the McLennan Dance Team has garnered a total of 14 National Dance Alliance championship titles, showcasing their competitive excellence and dedication.

The resolution commends the team's members and coaches, Ashlee Keyes and Emma Howard, for their skill and teamwork, as well as the support from the college's athletic director, Shawn Trochim, and president, Dr. Johnette McKown. The Texas Senate extends its congratulations and best wishes for continued success to the McLennan Dance Team, and a copy of the resolution will be prepared as a token of esteem from the Senate.
