The resolution honors the memory of Vicki Morgan, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on October 4, 1951, to Charles and Neva Hall, Vicki grew up alongside her sister Charleen and graduated from Linden-Kildare High School in 1970. She later moved to Nacogdoches and eventually settled in Tyler, where she married her high school sweetheart, Tony Morgan. Together, they enjoyed a fulfilling 54-year marriage and raised two children, Karen and Ben, while also cherishing their roles as grandparents to three grandchildren.

Vicki was a devoted member of Green Acres Baptist Church and engaged in various hobbies, including traveling, sewing, gardening, and crafting. She was known for her love of family gatherings, hosting holiday celebrations, and spending time at her cabin in Jefferson. The resolution expresses heartfelt condolences to her family, including her husband, children, grandchildren, sister, and other relatives and friends, and it calls for an official copy of the resolution to be prepared for her family. The Texas Senate will adjourn in her memory, reflecting on the lasting impact of her life and spirit.
