She excelled academically, graduating from Ursuline Academy and earning a bachelor's degree with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by a juris doctor degree from UT Law. Angela's personal life includes a marriage to the late Honorable Dan Beck, with whom she had a son, John Francis Beck, and a blended family that includes stepchildren and grandchildren.

Throughout her career, Angela Flores Beck has made significant contributions to the legal field and her community. She has held various positions, including working in the governor's equal employment opportunity office during the Dolph Briscoe administration, serving as chief of staff for State Representative Irma Rangel, and working as an assistant U.S. attorney. She co-founded an all-female law firm and has served as city attorney for multiple towns. Notably, she was the first woman and first Latina to chair the Lower Colorado River Authority and has been actively involved in the Fayette County Democratic Party. The resolution expresses the Texas House's admiration for her achievements and extends best wishes for her continued happiness.
