The resolution congratulates Dustin R. Womble on his election as vice chair of the Texas Tech University System Board of Regents, a position he assumed on April 14, 2025. Mr. Womble is a Texas Tech University alumnus, graduating magna cum laude in 1981 with a degree in business administration. He founded Interactive Computer Designs during his time at university and later sold the company to Tyler Technologies, where he served as executive vice president until his retirement in 2016. Currently, he is a partner at Masked Rider Capital and chair of Service Compression, LLC.
