The resolution honors the memory of John Randal Satterwhite, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 49. Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, he moved to Texas as a teenager and graduated from Calallen High School, where he was an active football player. He later earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and married Kathleen in 2003. The couple settled in Midlothian, where John built a successful career in the construction industry, notably serving as vice president of Lloyd D. Nabors Demolition and as a regional manager for ROMCO Equipment Company. He was also involved in the National Demolition Association and contributed to his community by coaching youth football and leading the Midlothian Heritage Football Booster Club.

John Satterwhite was a devoted family man, proud father to Morgan and Ryan, and enjoyed supporting their activities. He was known for his sense of humor, generosity, and commitment to his family and community. The resolution expresses condolences to his family and friends, recognizing the impact he had on those around him and the inspiration he leaves behind. The Texas House of Representatives will adjourn in his memory, and an official copy of the resolution will be prepared for his family.
