The Texas House of Representatives has passed a resolution honoring the life of Eugene Frank Zaboroski, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Houston on May 1, 1936, Gene Zaboroski was a dedicated family man, husband to Delphine Schultz for over six decades, and father to five daughters. He was actively involved in his community, contributing to various local organizations and serving as the Harris County justice of the peace for Precinct 6, where he implemented significant improvements to the court's services.

In addition to his public service, Zaboroski was deeply committed to his family's business, the historic Juergen's Store & Hall, and played a vital role in the development of Cypress Top Historic Park, which now serves as a site for educational tours. The resolution expresses heartfelt condolences to his family, including his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and acknowledges the lasting impact of his life on the Cypress community. An official copy of the resolution will be prepared for his family, and the House will adjourn in his memory.
