The bill also stipulates that the attorney general must provide guidance to legal authorities regarding the new electronic submission requirements by December 1, 2025, and clarifies that the new electronic submission rules will only apply to documents submitted on or after the effective date of the Act, which is January 1, 2026. Any submissions made prior to this date will continue to be governed by the previous law.
