H.B. No. 4285 amends the Alcoholic Beverage Code to expand the storage options for alcoholic beverages by airline passenger transportation permittees. The bill allows these permittees to store alcoholic beverages not only at airports they regularly serve but also within the same county and within five miles of those airports. The new legal language specifies that the storage must be in sealed containers of any size and must comply with rules and regulations set forth by the commission. The bill is set to take effect on September 1, 2025.
