Johnson has also held various leadership roles, including the first president of the Alabama-Coushatta Youth Council, and has actively supported youth programs and community initiatives.

In addition to his local government leadership, Johnson is a cultural ambassador and a trusted voice in his community, hosting the KREZ Podcast and serving on multiple boards, including the Tyler, Angelina, and Polk County Chambers of Commerce. He is dedicated to preserving the language, history, and culture of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Nation and is a devoted family man. The resolution commends Johnson for his significant contributions to Texas and expresses best wishes for his future endeavors, highlighting the enduring impact he has made in his community and state.
