House Bill No. 3443 mandates that the Texas Department of Criminal Justice maintain the temperature in its facilities between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. This requirement is introduced as a new section, 501.028, in Subchapter A of Chapter 501 of the Government Code.
