A lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a graduate of Lincoln High School, Mrs. Savoy has been an active member of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church for more than fifty years. She is supported by her children, Jacquelyn, Madeline, Jewel, and Terry. The resolution expresses the Texas House of Representatives' admiration for her vision, leadership, and tireless dedication to her community, and it extends best wishes for her future endeavors.
