The bill proposes the designation of a specific segment of U.S. Highway 69 in Smith County as the "Veterans Memorial Highway." This designation will apply to the portion of the highway located between its intersection with South State Loop 323 and the northern municipal limits of Bullard. The bill includes provisions for the Texas Department of Transportation to design and construct markers that indicate this designation, as well as to erect a marker at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the route.
