After moving to Fort Worth in 1967, Teresa pursued a nursing career, earning her licensed vocational nurse license in 1974 and her registered nurse license in 1982. Following Mick's passing in 2003, she lived with her sister in Benbrook.

The resolution expresses heartfelt sympathy to Teresa's family, including her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and acknowledges the impact she had on their lives.
