R E S O L U T I O N
               WHEREAS, The Montgomery County Farm Bureau received the 2023
  Golden Buckle Award from the Texas Farm Bureau at the
  organization's 90th Annual Meeting in Frisco; and
               WHEREAS, One of the TFB's highest honors, the Golden Buckle
  Award recognizes county bureaus that have demonstrated exceptional
  agricultural promotion, membership growth, and involvement with
  the parent organization; the award comes with a $10,000 prize and a
  custom-made belt buckle for each county director; and
               WHEREAS, The Montgomery County Farm Bureau hosted community
  activities and educational events throughout the year, and it
  launched the Youth Discussion Meet and the Public Speaking Contest
  to help young people in the area develop communication skills and
  knowledge related to agriculture; the organization's members have
  also supported agriculture-friendly legislation and met with state
  and national politicians to discuss issues facing farmers and
  ranchers; and
               WHEREAS, True to its mission, the Montgomery County Farm
  Bureau has made a lasting and positive difference in its community,
  and it is indeed deserving of this most recent honor; now,
  therefore, be it
               RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate the
  Montgomery County Farm Bureau on receiving the 2023 Golden Buckle
  Award from the Texas Farm Bureau and extend to all those associated
  with the organization sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
  further
               RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the Montgomery County Farm Bureau as an expression of
  high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
