               R E S O L U T I O N
            
                          WHEREAS, Poke Burri Sugar Land celebrated its one year 
         
            anniversary on October 27, 2023; and
         
                          WHEREAS, Seven Chan and Ken Yu founded the flagship Poke 
         
            Burri in East Atlanta in October 2016, and today, the restaurant has 
         
            expanded to include multiple locations in Atlanta as well as 
         
            franchises in North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and 
         
            Texas; and
         
                          WHEREAS, The Sugar Land location was opened by owners 
         
            Vanshika Vipin Varma and Sushil Varma in 2022; the menu offers a 
         
            selection of poke bowls, burrito rolls, ramen noodles, sushi 
         
            donuts, and Korean fried chicken; and
         
                          WHEREAS, By creating jobs and helping to strengthen the 
         
            economic environment of Fort Bend County, Poke Burri Sugar Land is 
         
            contributing to the vitality of that community, and it is fitting 
         
            that the anniversary of its founding be recognized; now, therefore, 
         
            be it
         
                          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas 
         
            Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commemorate the first 
         
            anniversary of the opening of Poke Burri Sugar Land and extend to 
         
            Vanshika Vipin Varma and Sushil Varma sincere best wishes for 
         
            continued success; and, be it further
         
                          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
         
            prepared for Vanshika Vipin Varma and Sushil Varma as an expression 
         
            of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
