            H.R. No. 113
         
               R E S O L U T I O N
            
                   WHEREAS, IDEA Achieve Academy and College Prep in Haltom City 
         
            was honored at the America's Healthiest Schools Leaders Summit, 
         
            which took place in Washington, D.C., on October 13 and 14, 2023; 
         
            and
         
                   WHEREAS, Hosted by Alliance for a Healthier Generation, the 
         
            annual summit recognizes schools from across the nation for their 
         
            efforts to advance the physical, mental, and social-emotional 
         
            health of their staff and students; this year, IDEA Achieve Academy 
         
            and College Prep was honored as one of the healthiest schools in 
         
            America in multiple topic areas; and
         
                   WHEREAS, The campus has established a number of 
         
            health-focused initiatives, including a food drive and the Junior 
         
            Farm Club, which gives students the opportunity to cultivate and 
         
            prepare their own food while learning about nutrition; the school 
         
            also offers an innovative physical education program to ensure that 
         
            students are exercising effectively; and
         
                   WHEREAS, In 2019, IDEA Tarrant County was founded with 
         
            Achieve Academy and College Prep as one of its flagship campuses; 
         
            currently serving nearly 1,100 students in kindergarten through 
         
            ninth grade, IDEA Achieve is ably guided by principals Giovanni 
         
            Outram and Howard Robinson and assistant principal Christy Timmons; 
         
            and
         
                   WHEREAS, IDEA Achieve Academy and College Prep has 
         
            demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the health and well-being of 
         
            its students and community, and the school is indeed deserving of 
         
            special recognition for its many achievements; now, therefore, be 
         
            it
         
                   RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas 
         
            Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate IDEA Achieve 
         
            Academy and College Prep on being honored at the America's 
         
            Healthiest Schools Leaders Summit and extend to all those involved 
         
            with the school sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it 
         
            further
         
                   RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
         
            prepared for IDEA Achieve Academy and College Prep as an expression 
         
            of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
