R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ashlynn Howell of White Deer High School has |
|
|
received the 2023 American FFA Degree from the National FFA |
|
|
Organization; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Howell will be presented with the award at the |
|
|
National FFA Convention and Expo, which is taking place in |
|
|
Indianapolis, Indiana, in November 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The highest degree given by the National FFA |
|
|
Organization, the American FFA Degree recognizes students who have |
|
|
demonstrated outstanding leadership and community involvement |
|
|
throughout their careers as Future Farmers of America members; |
|
|
recipients must have completed at least three years of secondary |
|
|
school instruction in an agricultural education program and |
|
|
exhibited comprehensive planning, managerial, and financial |
|
|
expertise in their participation with supervised agricultural |
|
|
initiatives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ashlynn Howell's hard work and commitment to |
|
|
excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future, and |
|
|
she is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Ashlynn |
|
|
Howell of White Deer High School on receiving the 2023 American FFA |
|
|
Degree from the National FFA Organization and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Howell as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
